What Premium Time Deposits are
Deposit accounts with annual or two-year commitment period, while interest is paid every trimester or semester. Two products are provided: Premium 12 and Premium 24
Premium 12
Deposit Duration: 12 months
The minimum deposited amount is 250.000€
Interest payment is credited every trimester (after the deduction of the current tax towards the Greek State, presently determined at 15%)
A fixed interest rate is provided throughout the duration of the deposit.

The deposit can be prepaid before its maturity date in whole or in part. Partial early withdrawal is possible as long as the amount of capital remaining in the deposit is not less than the minimum required amount.
Partial or full early withdrawal of the deposit on the interest charge day is carried out without penalty or other additional charge. If the interest charge date is not a business day (holiday) then the early withdrawal can take place without penalty exactly on the previous business day
Value date is considered the expiry date of the time deposit. In case you perform an early withdrawal on a different date than the interest charge date, you are subject to a penalty of 2% interest rate affecting the accrued interest for the days remaining until maturity. The original capital is not affected whatsoever.
